About the brand
Proudly Pulp is the work of Swedish-American artist and illustrator Tina Back. Her goal is to surprise, delight and entertain you with her quirky, instantly recognizable style.
Tina creates art with a distinctly handmade look and a side of whimsy. She enjoys tweaking the traditional into something fresh and current. And while she loves a crisp clean line, she is no stranger to adding beautiful, vibrant colors. Tina strongly believes you can never be too stylish or too unique, and that the world will be a better place with more of those things in it. She started Proudly Pulp to do her part, one print, one tea towel at a time.
Proudly Pulp designs come in unexpected combinations, from sleek and suave all the way to the confidently cheeky, with themes and collections for the curious at heart.

Tina Back — a short bio
Born in Sweden with a traveling bug, Tina Back has lived in Japan, Singapore and California. The different places she has called home shapes her work.

She has 20+ years of experience, working both in-house and freelance for a wide variety of clients in different industries, from finance to publishing. Tina knows her way around print as well as digital. Her illustrations and writings has been published in books for children and adults. She can be spotted in the wild with ink-stained fingers and killer boots.
